A Drive-In movie gone Musical—
So Bad, it’s Gonna be Great!

Ingredients:
One grizzled, greedy, no-good florist on the seedy side of the tracks
One hopelessly nerdy flower shop errand boy
One deliciously ditzy blonde
One talking potted plant of otherworldly origin
A trio of Motown wanna-bes or two
A sadistic dentist who might answer to the name “Brando” or “Elvis”
Sprinkle in various other skid row denizens and visitors
Season heavily with Ed Wood Sci-Fi influence…

Now crank the blender up high, baby!

Welcome to the nuttiest, bloodiest, rocking little musical SMHS has produced since… well, since Bat Boy last fall— but it had been a very long time before that…

When floral shop nowhere man Seymour discovers the plant food his boss’ unique little piece of merchandise prefers, things start turning up roses at the shop. And that drop-dead babe-a-licious object of his secret desire Audrey suddenly likes Seymour, taped-together eyeglasses and all! Coincidence? Come to one of our four-and-only-four performances and find out.

Brought to life by our accomplished and dedicated musical theatre performers, supported by our most excellent stage crew, orchestra and boosters, and featuring the leadership talents of Director Brad Friedman, Choreographer Robyn Tribuzi, Vocal Director Shawn Reifschneider, Musical Director Til Tribuzi and Technical Director Chad Bonaker.
